Click for larger image.Welcome to the latest and greatest move by Global Aquatic Dive Center Bali. After nearly ten years of operations in Bali by Dave “H” Pallett and his wife Camilla, in association with our Austrian Global Aquatic partners, we are now not only in Sanur where the base of the operations was doing well. Better than that… We finally got ourselves and our new team down ON the beach here in Sanur. 

 

Having access to our very own house reef only five minutes from dive center to dive site, we are now extensively monitoring and charting (As per our commitment to Project AWARE) creatures such as a pregnant ghost pipe fish up to the bigger fish life like the family of white tip reef sharks on shark point all on the same dive!

 

Platax Batavianus - Click for larger image.Only a slightly longer boat trip toward the East we have discovered a nursery ground for more tiny critters including the smallest juvenile batfish we have ever seen. Along with cuttlefish, mimic octopus and a multitude of nudibranch this little secret can only be dived at certain phases of the moon but WOW what a pleasant surprise in the right conditions. Never let it be said again that there is no decent diving in Sanur. Stick with the professionals and let us surprise you!

 

To top it all, after a hard days diving, come and relax with your favourite Instructor, your favourite fish identification book and an ice cold beer to rinse the salt away in our beach bar, we also have access to the best restaurants this side of town , all of whom will deliver to our doorstep so you don’t even have to move again if you don’t want to!
